We appreciate your interest in our classes for adults. Our 6-week Artist Series meet once a week for 3 hours and cost $250 per 6-week session. Our One-Day Workshops typically cost $99. CANCELLATION POLICY:
If cancelling up to a week before class starts, refunds are available (less a $25 processing fee). / If cancelling within a week before class starts, refunds are 25% of purchase price. / If cancelling within 48 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund. We will do our best to find you a comparable class at our discretion. / If cancelling within 24 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund or credit.
Teen Beginner Metalsmithing – Summer Session
Starts Wednesday, July 8th (Wednesday & Thursday mornings, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. twice a week for a total of 18 hours of instruction.)
CLASS DATES: July 8th & 9th; July 15th & 16th, (skip the week of July 22nd & 23rd); last week of morning classes runs July 29th & 30th.
This class will introduce teens (ages 13-18) to the basics of metalsmithing. Students will learn the tools and techniques required to make custom, handmade jewelry. Techniques such as forming, sawing, soldering, and riveting will be covered. We will be making rings, earrings, and pendants. No prior experience needed. An overview can be emailed upon request. Open to teens, ages 13 to 18.
$250 class fee does not include materials. The materials fee is $40 and can be purchased directly from the instructor with Venmo or cash at the first class.
About the instructor: Racheal Cooley has a degree in art and biology. She was first introduced to metalsmith jewelry making in high school and has had a passion for it ever since. She enjoys helping people discover this medium and has been teaching classes since 2023.
