We appreciate your interest in our classes for adults. Our 6-week Artist Series meet once a week for 3 hours per 6-week session (18 hours total). Our Workshops are offered in 6-hour, 9-hour, or 12-hour formats. Current studio members receive 20% off all classes offered at Artascope. CANCELLATION POLICY:
If cancelling up to a week before class starts, refunds are available (less a $25 processing fee). / If cancelling within a week before class starts, refunds are 25% of purchase price. / If cancelling within 48 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund. We will do our best to find you a comparable class at our discretion. / If cancelling within 24 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund or credit.
Intermediate Ceramics Guided Studio 6-week Artist Series
Starts September 16th (Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for six weeks).
This series offers an opportunity to receive guidance and support with your personal ceramic projects. Students should feel comfortable working mostly independently, with occasional instruction and feedback from the instructor.
Demonstrations will focus on techniques and skills relevant to students’ individual projects rather than a specific class project. Come prepared with your own ideas and be ready to take the skills you already have to the next level. Design, create, experiment, and enjoy the support you need to bring your ceramic pieces to completion.
Materials are not included in the class price. Clay and glaze can be purchased from the instructor or from Portland Pottery.
Please note: It is important that students have basic ceramics knowledge, either through a beginner 6-week course at Artascope or a comparable class.

About the instructor: Barry Harrison attended Arizona State University where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Ceramics.
