We appreciate your interest in our classes for adults. Our 6-week Artist Series meet once a week for 3 hours and cost $250 per 6-week session. Our One-Day Workshops typically cost $99. If cancelling up to a week before class starts, refunds are available (less a $25 processing fee). / If cancelling within a week before class starts, refunds are 25% of purchase price. / If cancelling within 48 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund. We will do our best to find you a comparable class at our discretion.

The Cool World of Gel Printing One-Day Teen Workshop

This workshop is open to teens and tweens.
Learn the basic methods of creating beautiful gelatin prints using homemade gel plates, stencils, botanicals, and acrylic paints. You’ll learn how to ink a plate (that will be yours to keep), design and transfer images onto paper , as well as how to add layers of interest, color, and patterns to your work. Come unleash your creativity while enjoying a lively time making your own beautiful imagery that you can use for cards, collage, etc.
$99 workshop fee does not include materials.
The materials supply kit is $15 and can be purchased directly from the instructor with cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal.
We will have an hour break for lunch between Noon-1pm. The studio will be closed during this break, but there are nearby parks where you can eat lunch if you brought your own, or you can check out one of the local restaurants in the area.
About the instructor: Suanne Williams-Lindgren, Spar Cove Creations, is a mixed media artist who thoroughly enjoys printmaking, book arts, collage, and working with clay. She’s taken numerous arts classes/workshops at MECCA, Haystack, USM, SMCC and here at Artascope.
