We appreciate your interest in our classes for adults. Our 6-week Artist Series meet once a week for 3 hours and cost $250 per 6-week session. Our One-Day Workshops typically cost $99. Current studio members receive 20% off all classes offered at Artascope. For info about inclement weather and how it might affect classes, please click HERE.
If cancelling up to a week before class starts, refunds are available (less a $25 processing fee). / If cancelling within a week before class starts, refunds are 25% of purchase price. / If cancelling within 48 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund. We will do our best to find you a comparable class at our discretion.

Printmaking for Beginners One-Day Workshop

COOL CARVINGS: Linoleum Cutting and Printmaking for Beginners
Using an easy cut “linoleum” block you’ll learn to create handsome prints that you can use for card making, wall hangings, collage, etc. without ever needing a press. You’ll be introduced to the basic aspects of design, carving, and printing.
$99 workshop fee does not include materials.
The materials supply kit is $25 and can be purchased directly from the instructor with cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal.
We will have an hour break for lunch between Noon-1pm. The studio will be closed during this break, but there are nearby parks where you can eat lunch if you brought your own, or you can check out one of the local restaurants in the area.
About the instructor: Suanne Williams-Lindgren, Spar Cove Creations, is a mixed media artist who thoroughly enjoys printmaking, book arts, collage, and working with clay. She’s taken numerous arts classes/workshops at MECCA, Haystack, USM, SMCC and here at Artascope.
