We appreciate your interest in our classes for adults. Our 6-week Artist Series meet once a week for 3 hours and cost $250 per 6-week session. Our One-Day Workshops typically cost $99. Current studio members receive 20% off all classes offered at Artascope. For info about inclement weather and how it might affect classes, please click HERE.
If cancelling up to a week before class starts, refunds are available (less a $25 processing fee). / If cancelling within a week before class starts, refunds are 25% of purchase price. / If cancelling within 48 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund. We will do our best to find you a comparable class at our discretion.

Signet Ring Wax Carving Two-day Workshop on October 3rd (full-day) and October 31st (half-day).
Learn the ancient technique of lost wax casting. In the first class on Sunday, October 3rd from 9AM-4PM, you will design, lay out, and carve a signet ring in your choice of several shapes.
We will meet four weeks later on Sunday, October 31st from 9AM-NOON for you to clean up and finish your ring after it is cast in your choice of silver or brass.
Basic wax carving, tool use, and finishing techniques will be covered. No prior metalsmithing experience necessary.
$149 workshop fee does not include materials. Supply kit available from instructor for $35 when series begins. (For safety, be sure to wear closed toe shoes and have long hair pulled back with clips or in a ponytail.)
We will have an hour break for lunch between Noon-1pm on October 3rd. Bring your own lunch or check out one of the local restaurants in the area.
NOTE: COVID-19 protocols are in place for the safety of our teachers and students, including wearing masks while inside the building.

About the instructor: Carly Cooke has been a full-time bench jeweler since 2012, and started her business, Flux Jewelry Studio in 2018. Carly pieced together her jewelry education through workshops at Haystack, Metalwerks, SMCC, and an inspiring year in Florence, Italy learning traditional metalsmithing techniques. Carly specializes in custom wedding and engagement jewelry, filigree, and unique engraved finishing details.
