Starts Monday, September 14th (Mondays from 6PM-9PM for six weeks.)
Students will be learning how to make pinch pots, slab built pots, and coil pots. This class will also include throwing on the Potters Wheel for those who are interested. Students will create both functional and non-functional work. Electric kiln firing will be available and each person will be working at their own level with the guidance of the instructor.
Non-members: $300 for 6 weeks / Members: $240

Materials are not included in the class price. Clay and glaze can be purchased from the instructor.

About the instructor: Barry Harrison attended Arizona State University where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Ceramics.

Although there are tools available for use in the studio, if you prefer to have your own tools, these are the basic materials to bring to class:
–Basic Pottery Tool Kit
–Apron (or wear something that can get dirty)
–Small plastic bucket
–Rags
–Gloves
–Dust mask
