We appreciate your interest in our classes for adults. Our 6-week Artist Series meet once a week for 3 hours and cost $250 per 6-week session. Our One-Day Workshops typically cost $99. Current studio members receive 20% off all classes offered at Artascope. For info about inclement weather and how it might affect classes, please click HERE.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
If cancelling up to a week before class starts, refunds are available (less a $25 processing fee). / If cancelling within a week before class starts, refunds are 25% of purchase price. / If cancelling within 48 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund. We will do our best to find you a comparable class at our discretion. / If cancelling within 24 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund or credit.

Explore the expressive possibilities of art-making in this process-focused class, where we turn to the natural world as our primary source of inspiration. We will utilize collage techniques as “fast sketches”—an immediate, intuitive response to our natural setting that captures form, light, and atmosphere without overthinking. These vibrant collages serve as essential studies, providing a rich, textural foundation that you can develop into larger, more complex paintings later.
This class is designed to be accessible and rewarding for all experience levels, guiding you to build your creative voice through experimentation with layering, color, and composition. You will gain hands-on expertise with a variety of materials, providing a solid foundation to confidently develop your own unique style.
