Illustrating Bouquets with Watercolor and Ink One-Day Workshop
February 11 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
SOLD OUT.
Sunday, February 11th from 10:00AM-5:00PM
Students of all skill levels will learn dip pen and ink techniques, and integrate them with watercolor. We’ll begin by covering skills for drawing with pen and ink, and watercolor techniques such as glazing, charging, ‘wet on wet’, layering, and more. You will move from short studies and exercises in the morning to a longer study in the afternoon. Rather than creating a formulaic step-by-step painting, you will be given tools for innovation and experimentation, and will finish the day with a totally unique painting of your bouquet.
$99 workshop fee does not include materials.
The materials supply kit is $25 and can be purchased directly from the instructor with cash, check, or card.
We will have an hour break for lunch between Noon-1pm. The studio will be closed during this break, but there are nearby parks where you can eat lunch if you brought your own, or you can check out one of the local restaurants in the area.
