SUMMARY:Foundations of Ceramics 6-week Artist Series
DESCRIPTION:Starts Monday\, May 18th (Mondays from 6PM-9PM for six weeks.) \nStudents will learn the fundamental techniques used when working with clay. Students will be learning how to make pinch pots\, slab built pots\, and coil pots. This class will also include throwing on the Potters Wheel for those who are interested. Students will create both functional and non-functional work. Electric kiln firing will be available and each person will be working at their own level with the guidance of the instructor. \nNon-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200. \nFee does not include materials. Clay and glaze can be purchased from the instructor. \n \n  \n  \n\nAbout the instructor: Barry Harrison attended Arizona State University where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Ceramics.
