DESCRIPTION:Starts March 23rd (Mondays from 1:30PM-4:30PM for 6 weeks). \nLearn centering solutions and how to pull up a cylinder the first week. See trimming techniques and finishing options the second week. From there we will cover spouts and handles and glaze techniques. SUMMARY:Beginner Potters Wheel - Ceramic 6-week Artist Series
DESCRIPTION:Starts Monday\, March 23rd (Monday evenings from 6PM-9PM for six weeks.) \nStudents will learn the fundamentals of throwing on the potters wheel. This class will cover clay preparation (wedging)\, centering\, opening and pulling the walls up to create functional forms like cups\, bowls and plates. You will learn techniques like trimming\, surface decoration\, glazing\, and firing. This class is for beginner to intermediate skill levels.
