DESCRIPTION:Join us at Artascope on Saturday\, September 21st from 4:00PM-6:00PM for our in person reception which wraps up our 2024 Plein Air Art Festival. You’ll find over 100 auction items donated by Artascope members and friends. Paintings by Liz Prescott\, Michael Vermette\, Tamara Jones\, Cooper Dragonette\, ceramics by Pam Delphenich\, Rebecca Laflam\, Sandie Roberts\, Joanna Morris\, jewelry by Kim Round and Rick Stark\, and so much more! \nThe reception begins at 4:00PM at 48 Railroad Square in Yarmouth\, ME. In person bidding starts immediately and last bids will be taken at 5:30pm. Come take advantage of the deals! Many items will sell for below their fair market value.  \nWe will be raffling off two 6-week Artist Series classes ($250 Value each)\, which can be redeemed for metalsmithing\, ceramics\, painting\, or drawing series. Winners will be announced at 5:30PM. Must be present to win! \nEnjoy small bites and beverages. No fee to attend. All are welcome. Feel free to bring your friends and family. \nArtascope is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that raises money for its experiential education programs by offering art classes and studio memberships in Yarmouth. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the “Closing Reception” of our annual Silent Auction at Artascope Studios. As a nonprofit Art Center\, we depend on the generosity of our wonderful friends and neighbors to help us build community. We offer affordable and accessible art experiences to all and we make it easy for you to support our mission by putting together gorgeous artwork for you to purchase. Buying one of the items from our auction is a WIN WIN WIN–it benefits the artist (they receive 50% of the sale)\, it benefits you (you get the inspiring artwork for you or a loved one)\, and it benefits Artascope (with much needed capital to execute our mission). What could be better? \nBe sure to check out the 90+ artworks available in our fundraising auction\, available online until the Closing Reception. It is an impressive mash-up of creative output featuring handcrafted items and paintings from some of the best artists in Maine. Works by Eric Jacobsen\, Liz Prescott\, and Garin Baker are included\, as well as discounted art classes and beautiful jewelry and ceramics made by our members\, teachers\, and friends. \nArtwork that has not already been sold will be on view at Bickford Pavilion\, 1 Railroad Square\, Yarmouth\, Maine on Saturday\, September 23rd from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. Free to attend and open to the public. Last bids will be taken at 6:30pm and winning bidders will be able to take the work home with them immediately after. \nEnter our raffle for a chance to win a Full-Year Membership ($600 value)!
