SUMMARY:Torch Fired Enamel - Saturday Metalsmithing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, September 6th from 1:30PM-7:30PM\nLearn the basics of torch firing and fusing colored powdered glass enamel onto vintage pennies or copper shapes to create colorful metal pieces. The materials fee of $30 includes all necessary materials\, such as handouts\, enamels\, opalescent\, stringers\, ear wires and leather for pendants\, and display cards for gift giving. This class will teach you the ancient technique of adding color to metals. \n$99 workshop fee does not include materials. \nThe materials kit is $35 and can be purchased from the instructor at the beginning of the workshop. \n(For safety\, be sure to wear closed toe shoes and have long hair pulled back with clips or in a ponytail.) \nWe will have a 20-minute break\, so feel free to bring a snack. \nLaura’s workshops are open to teens ages 13 and up when accompanied by an adult. \n \n  \n  \n\nAbout the instructor: Laura Jamison of LJ Studios Metalsmith is an instructor from New Hampshire. \nClick here to view our cancellation policy.
