SUMMARY:Wednesday Beginning/Intermediate Metalsmithing 6-week Artist Series
DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT. \nStarts Wednesday\, May 26th (Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for 6 weeks) \nParticipants will learn basic and intermediate fabrication techniques such as piercing\, forming\, soldering\, and surface finishing. There will be demonstrations on stone setting techniques for rings & pendants\, texturizing and mark making. Discussions will include applying the principles of design in jewelry making and how to improve craftsmanship skills and tool use. This class is open to beginners & intermediate metalsmiths and includes skill building exercises and opportunities to work on a variety of techniques and individual projects. \nNon-members: $195 for 6 weeks. Members: $156. Workshop fee does not include materials. Wire and cabochons available to purchase at first class. \nOpen to adults only.
