SUMMARY:Beginning/Intermediate Silversmithing 6-week Artist Series
DESCRIPTION:CLASS IS FULL. \nStarts Monday\, May 23rd (Mondays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for six weeks) \n​Class dates: 5/23 and 6/6\, 6/13\, 6/20\, 6/27\, with last class date to be determined. \nNote: Class was originally listed to start 5/16\, but was rescheduled to 5/23/22. \nParticipants will learn basic fabrication techniques such as piercing\, forming\, soldering\, and surface finishing. In addition\, there will be demonstrations on stone setting techniques for rings & pendants. Discussions will include applying design principles to jewelry making and how to improve craftsmanship. This class is open to beginners & intermediate metalsmiths. \nFee does not include materials. The $50 materials kit can be purchased directly from the instructor. The kit utilizes sterling silver and brass components.
