SUMMARY:Intermediate Wheel Throwing 6-week Artist Series

SUMMARY:Intermediate Metalsmithing 6-week Artist Series
DESCRIPTION:Starts March 23rd (Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for six weeks) \nBuilding upon foundational metalsmithing techniques\, this class will elevate your existing skills and inspire you to tackle more advanced jewelry projects. We will cover bezel and tube gemstone settings\, piercing\, bench pin alterations\, soldering techniques\, and finishing. We will move through assigned projects but there will be plenty of room for creativity and exploration of what is specifically interesting to you. Be prepared to learn tips and tricks that will advance your jewelry making to the next level! \nPlease note: It is important that students have basic metalsmithing knowledge\, either through the beginner 6-week metalsmithing course at Artascope or a comparable class. \nNon-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200. \nFee does not include materials.
