SUMMARY:Intermediate Silversmithing Friday 6-week Artist Series
DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT\, but you can join a waitlist. \nStarts Friday\, March 22nd (Fridays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for six weeks) \nClass dates: 3/22; 3/29; 4/5; 4/12; 4/26; and 5/3. There is no class on April 19th. \nThis series will delve into the alchemy of silversmithing\, introducing participants to the fundamentals of chain making\, prong setting\, and hollow forms with independent project planning. SUMMARY:Bangles with Dangles - Saturday Metalsmithing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, March 30th from 1:30PM-7:30PM\nLearn the basics of metalwork. Participants will learn to shape\, hammer\, and solder metal to create unique and stylish bangles. Through guided instruction and hands-on experience\, participants will gain the confidence and skills to create jewelry pieces with beautiful dangles to add a touch of glamour to any outfit. All tools and safety equipment will be provided. The $30 materials kit includes silver\, brass\, and copper. Participants will leave with a beautiful set of handmade bangles and the knowledge to make more. \n$99 workshop fee does not include materials. \nThe materials kit is $30 and can be purchased from the instructor at the beginning of the workshop. \n(For safety\, be sure to wear closed toe shoes and have long hair pulled back with clips or in a ponytail.) \nWe will have a 20-minute break\, so feel free to bring a snack. \n \n  \n  \n\nAbout the instructor: Laura Jamison of LJ Studios Metalsmith is an instructor from New Hampshire. \nClick here to view our cancellation policy.
