SUMMARY:Acrylic Techniques 6-week Artist Series - THURSDAY PM
DESCRIPTION:Starts May 18th (Thursday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for 6 weeks.) \nIMPORTANT: Masks are optional for this series. \nArtists explore basic acrylic painting techniques in a flexible\, supportive setting. Color mixing and theories\, paint and imagery layering\, composition\, and other fundamentals are discussed. We paint and interpret from observation\, printed photos and imagination. Contemporary and past artists act as kindred spirits and influence weekly prompts. We begin with a demo and warm up on paper\, then develop ideas on canvas. All levels are welcome. \nSupplies: Supply list will be emailed by the instructor before the first class. \nNon-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200. \n \n  \n  \n\nInstructor bio: Jen MacDonald has studied many different art mediums and has come to love acrylic paint. She is fond of exploring the beauty of flowers by painting with an unusual perspective and deeply vibrant and saturated color.
