DESCRIPTION:Starts Monday\, July 12th (Mondays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for 6 weeks) \nWork on personal projects at your own pace in this six week series.  \nIntermediate Jewelry is for people who have done basic metal work and have some idea of what they would like to work on in this class. Advice and demonstrations will be given as appropriate. People should bring materials they have for their projects and limited supplies may be available. \nNon-members: $195 for 6 weeks. Members: $156. \nFee does not include materials. Limited supplies are available to purchase separately as needed for class projects. Open to adults only. \n \n  \n  \nNOTE: COVID-19 protocols are in place for the safety of our teachers and students. \n  \n\nInstructor: Paula Wolfe taught high school pottery and jewelry for 34 years in Massachusetts before relocating to Brunswick in 2017. She was also a jeweler-in-residence in the English Lake District for two years. This class is open to beginners & intermediate metalsmiths and includes skill building exercises and opportunities to work on a variety of techniques and individual projects. \nNon-members: $195 for 6 weeks. Members: $156. SUMMARY:Beginner Silver Ring Bands One-Day Workshop
DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT. \nIn this workshop students will make their own silver rings from start to finish. This class will cover basic metalsmithing skills\, such as cutting\, shaping\, and joining metal. You will customize your ring bands with surface design techniques such as roller-printing\, stamping\, and hammering. \n$79 workshop fee does not include materials. The $25 materials kit can be purchased at the beginning of the workshop. (For safety\, be sure to wear closed toe shoes and have long hair pulled back with clips or in a ponytail.) \nWe will have an hour break for lunch between Noon-1pm. Bring your own lunch or check out one of the local restaurants in the area. \nOpen to adults only.
