DESCRIPTION:Starts Wednesday\, November 4th (Wednesdays\, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for 6 weeks.) \nLearn from the master painters\, such as Edward Hopper\, Vincent Van Gogh and Fairfield Porter. Sometimes the best way to learn is to “apprentice” from master painters of the past. In the process of copying these magnificient works of art\, you can learn the nuances that the artists themselves explored. This class will use acrylic paints and is guaranteed to raise your understanding of what creates a good painting\, from composition to color mixing and line work. Throughout the six weeks\, you’ll advance your technical understanding\, value relationships\, and brushwork such as glazing and proper mixing techniques. SUMMARY:Precious Metal Clay One-Day Workshop
DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT. \nPrecious Metal Clay (PMC) combines the ease of working with bronze clay and the results of precious metals. Learn rolling\, stamping and cutting techniques during the creation process and see how they translate to kiln fired bronze PMC pieces. \nWe will have an hour break for lunch between Noon-1:00. Feel free to bring your own lunch\, or check out one of the local restaurants. \n$79 workshop fee does not include materials.
