With a focus on painting what you see rather than what you think you see\, Liz will guide you in creating gorgeous water and sky scenes. Focusing on color and composition\, this workshop will provide you with tools to help you get to the heart of what you want to say. Explore all the blues in your paint box\, learn to mix the multitude of colors seen in water reflections and play with hard vs. soft edges. Paint in acrylics or oils. She exhibits her work throughout New England. She is a graduate of Maine College of Art (BFA 2000) and Vermont College of Fine Arts (MFA 2003 Visual Arts). Her work is included in the permanent collections at the Portland Museum of Art\, Colby College\, Bowdoin College\, New York Public Library\, and the University of New England. She is a founding member of Meetinghouse Arts Gallery in Freeport\, where she remains an active gallery committee member.
