DESCRIPTION:Learn painting essentials–mixing colors\, understanding values\, and more! \nAre you a painting beginner who wants to learn painting essentials and the craft of painting? Or an intermediate painter who wants to learn painting skills\, tips\, and tricks to take your painting to the next level? Looking to try your hand at a new medium\, or improve your talents in the medium you’re working in now? \nIt doesn’t matter if you’re painting in acrylics\, watercolor\, or pastel\, this workshop has something for everyone. Want to paint a still life? Prefer to paint a landscape from a photo you bring to class? You may even have time to do both! Are you working on a painting that needs a critique to move it to the next level? We’ll help with that\, too. \nAward-winning artist\, Gerard Bianco\, has been guiding artists for over forty years\, teaching the craft of painting from the ground up. From the basics to the more intricate and subtle aspects of painting\, his hands-on approach will help you to mix colors\, understand values\, and learn the craft of painting to take your art to new heights. Here’s your opportunity to spend six hours with a painting professional who will personally guide you on your painting path. This class is for beginners and intermediate students. \n$99 workshop fee does not include materials. A supply list can be emailed upon request. \nWe will have an hour break for lunch between Noon-1pm. He is an associate member of the American Watercolor Society. He holds an MFA in Writing. He studied art at the Art Students League\, and the School of Visual Arts. His portraits and illustrations hang in many corporate and private collections\, including the National Museum of the U.S. Navy. He lives in Maine.
