SUMMARY:Fundamentals of Oil Painting 6-Week Artist Series
DESCRIPTION:Starts Tuesday\, July 11th (Tuesdays from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for six weeks.) \nInstructor Catherine Bickford will introduce a non-toxic method of oil painting that does not require turpentine. We will cover the initial set up and clean up in addition to learning how to apply the paint to various substrates. We will cover a variety of content\, painting from obervation and also learning how to paint from photographs. The emphasis in this class will be learning new ways to work with oil paint. Please bring your oil paints and a few canvases or wood panels that have been gessoed in advance. \nNon-members: $250 for 6 weeks.
