SUMMARY:Spinner Rings - Saturday Metalsmithing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, August 1st from 1:30PM-7:30PM\nThis workshop will guide you through the fundamentals of the metals studio\, including tools\, safety\, soldering\, filing\, and sanding\, to help you create a beautiful and unique spinner ring. This course is suitable for beginners\, and there is a $40 materials fee\, which will provide you with everything you need to complete your spinner ring. \n$99 workshop fee does not include materials. The estimated materials kit fee is $40* and will be available to purchase from the instructor at the beginning of the workshop. \n*NOTE: This is an approximate cost and actual kit cost may be different due to the metals market fluctuation in 2026. \n(For safety\, be sure to wear closed toe shoes and have long hair pulled back with clips or in a ponytail.) \nWe will have a 20-minute break\, so feel free to bring a snack. \nLaura’s workshops are open to teens ages 13 and up when accompanied by a parent. \nThis class will be held in our new location at 138 Bayview Street\, Yarmouth\, ME. \n \n  \n  \n\nAbout the instructor: Laura Jamison of LJ Studios Metalsmith is an instructor from New Hampshire. \nClick here to view our cancellation policy.

This class will cover basic metalsmithing skills\, such as cutting\, shaping\, and joining metal. SUMMARY:Bezel Earrings One-Day Metalsmithing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, August 30th from 9:30a.m. to 4:30p.m. \nMake your new favorite pair of earrings in this Mixed Metals earrings class. \n\n\n\nYou will learn how to use a jewelers torch\, saw through sheet metal\, create handmade bezel cups with bezel wire\, create handmade ear wires\, and use various dremel attachments for sanding and finishing metal. Beginners welcome! \nMetals we will be using to make one pair of earrings: \n\nCopper Sheet Metal\nBrass Sheet Metal\nSterling Silver Bezel Cups\nSterling Silver Ear Wire\nSterling Silver Jump Rings\n\n$99 workshop fee does not include materials. \nThe materials fee is $55\, which includes stones and metal options to make one pair of earrings. This separate fee is paid to the instructor via Venmo\, CASH\, or credit card. \n(For safety\, be sure to wear closed toe shoes and have long hair pulled back with clips or in a ponytail.) \nWe will have an hour break for lunch .
