SUMMARY:Introduction to Stained Glass One-Day Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, April 6th from 9:00AM-4:00PM \nThis introduction to stained glass workshop will cover the basics of working with glass\, including cutting\, grinding\, foiling\, and soldering. Students will be able to create one to two stained glass flowers in the time allowed. All of the steps of a stained class project can be redone so there is very little risk of not creating a nice piece. \n$99 workshop fee does not include materials. The $20 materials kit can be purchased at the beginning of the workshop. (For safety\, be sure to wear closed toe shoes and have long hair pulled back with clips or in a ponytail.) \nWe will have an hour break for lunch between Noon-1pm. The studio will be closed during this break\, but there are nearby parks where you can eat lunch if you brought your own\, or you can check out one of the local restaurants in the area. \nOpen to adults only. \n \n  \n  \n\nAbout the instructor: As an artist\, Kathy Williams focuses on creating work that will make people happy when they look at it.
