SUMMARY:Foundations of Ceramics 6-week Artist Series
DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT. \nStarts Monday\, March 13th (Mondays from 6PM-9PM for six weeks.) \nIMPORTANT: Masks are optional for this series. \nEnjoy a hands-on educational and artistic experience using clay. Students will learn fundamental making and decorating techniques including wheel throwing\, handbuilding and glazing\, as well as sculpting techniques such as coil building\, pinching and handbuilding to create functional and non-functional work. Weekly projects include making cups\, bowls\, and plates. Electric kiln-firing will be available and each person will be working at his or her own level with the guidance of the instructor. \nNon-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200. \nFee does not include materials.
