We appreciate your interest in our classes for adults. Our 6-week Artist Series meet once a week for 3 hours and cost $250 per 6-week session. Our One-Day Workshops typically cost $99. If cancelling up to a week before class starts, refunds are available (less a $25 processing fee). / If cancelling within a week before class starts, refunds are 25% of purchase price. / If cancelling within 48 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund. We will do our best to find you a comparable class at our discretion.

Expressions in Painting via ZOOM 6-week Artist Series

Starts online via ZOOM on Tuesday, May 25th (Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. for 6 weeks.)
Do you have a desire to explore yourself through oil, gouache, or acrylic painting? Do you want to learn playful and visually appealing techniques that will help you communicate your artistic vision? This class will instruct you in the basics of expressionist painting techniques such as glazing, washes, scumbling, and adding texture. You will learn about the great expressionist painters such as Van Gogh and Paul Klee. And, you will discover a wealth of new tools to improve your paintings through use of of value, color, and composition. Great for beginners who wish to learn the essentials of painting or for intermediate painters looking to break out of realism. A curriculum can be emailed upon request.
Non-members: $195 for 6 weeks. Members: $156.
Fee does not include materials. A list of recommended supplies can be emailed upon request. A ZOOM link will be emailed to registered students closer to the start date.
