Playful Patterns Printmaking One-Day Workshop

Sunday, March 29th from 9:00AM-4:00PM
In this joyful, process-focused printmaking workshop, you’ll learn how to create vibrant repeat patterns. We will explore every step of the process including designing a motif, carving, inking with colorful palettes and printing. Participants are encouraged to explore, experiment and play. Students will design, carve, ink and print a unique pattern design using color. You’ll learn how to create a compelling composition, safely carve a block, plus inking techniques and printing. Perfect for adults of all skill levels.
$99 workshop fee does not include materials.
Download a PDF of the materials list by clicking HERE. Note: the list shows options for printing on paper or fabric, as different inks are used for each process. You can choose from either list for materials, or you can choose to get all the supplies to try out both paper and fabric printmaking options.
NOTE: This class can be messy; students are encouraged to wear play clothing or an apron.
We will have an hour break for lunch midday. The studio will be closed during this break, but there are nearby parks where you can eat lunch if you brought your own, or you can check out one of the local restaurants in the area.
