We appreciate your interest in our classes for adults. Our 6-week Artist Series meet once a week for 3 hours and cost $250 per 6-week session. Our One-Day Workshops typically cost $99. CANCELLATION POLICY

If cancelling up to a week before class starts, refunds are available (less a $25 processing fee).  /  If cancelling within a week before class starts, refunds are 25% of purchase price.  /  If cancelling within 48 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund. We will do our best to find you a comparable class at our discretion.  /  If cancelling within 24 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund or credit.

Intermediate Metalsmithing 6-week Artist Series

January 18, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Starts Monday, January 18th (Mondays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for 6 weeks)

This metalsmithing class is designed for students who have taken an introductory class and seek to build on their skills or continue existing intermediate project work in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. It begins by reinforcing the safe and proper use of essential tools and equipment. Students will then set out on several projects, including rings, bracelets and earrings, and learning skills and techniques like forging, texturizing, mark making/stamping, and soldering. Students should bring some project ideas, and they may bring materials needed to start them. A class overview and reference materials will be provided during the first session.

Non-members: $195 for 6 weeks. Members: $156.

Fee does not include materials.

Open to adults only. Please contact us directly if you are interested in seeing metalsmithing options for teens.

About the instructor: Rick Stark comes to metalsmithing after a wide variety of experiences in woodworking, blacksmithing and metalsmithing at Haystack Mountain School of Craft, Artascope, the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship and the Wooden Boat School. He is thrilled to be part of the supportive & creative Artascope community and is committed to education and peer-to-peer learning.
