We appreciate your interest in our classes for adults. Our 6-week Artist Series meet once a week for 3 hours and cost $250 per 6-week session. Our One-Day Workshops typically cost $99. If cancelling up to a week before class starts, refunds are available (less a $25 processing fee). / If cancelling within a week before class starts, refunds are 25% of purchase price. / If cancelling within 48 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund. We will do our best to find you a comparable class at our discretion.

Beginning Wheel Throwing (PART ONE) 6-week Artist Series
January 24 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Starts January 24th (Wednesdays from 1:30PM-4:30PM for 6 weeks).
Learn centering solutions and how to pull up a cylinder the first week. See trimming techniques and finishing options the second week. From there we will cover spouts and handles and glaze techniques. Get the basics and a good foundation with this beginner level wheel throwing class.
Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200.
Fee does not include materials. Clay will be $3/pound which covers glazing and firing costs.
Masks are optional in this series.
About the instructor: Lee Cummings has over fifty years experience working with clay–thirty as a production potter, taught at Germantown Academy and Unity College, and had a one person show at the University Museum in Bangor, as well as sold her work through Littlefield Gallery and Greenhut Gallery.
