We appreciate your interest in our classes for adults. Our 6-week Artist Series meet once a week for 3 hours and cost $250 per 6-week session. Our One-Day Workshops typically cost $99. If cancelling up to a week before class starts, refunds are available (less a $25 processing fee). / If cancelling within a week before class starts, refunds are 25% of purchase price. / If cancelling within 48 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund. We will do our best to find you a comparable class at our discretion.

Beginning/Intermediate Handbuilding in Clay 6-week Artist Series

Starts March 23rd (Wednesdays, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for 6 weeks)
In this series, beginner and intermediate students will review construction techniques for coil, soft slab, paddle and pinch while focusing on finishing statements, additional glazing systems and aesthetic choices–they all make a difference! Come play with us and learn to listen to the clay.
Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200.
Fee does not include materials. Clay will be three dollars a pound which covers basic glazing and firing costs.

About the instructor: Lee Cummings has had twenty years as a production potter, taught at Germantown Academy and Unity College, and had a one person show at the University Museum in Bangor as well as sold through Littlefield Gallery and Greenhut Gallery.
