We appreciate your interest in our classes for adults. Our 6-week Artist Series meet once a week for 3 hours and cost $250 per 6-week session. Our One-Day Workshops typically cost $99. CANCELLATION POLICY:
If cancelling up to a week before class starts, refunds are available (less a $25 processing fee). / If cancelling within a week before class starts, refunds are 25% of purchase price. / If cancelling within 48 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund. We will do our best to find you a comparable class at our discretion. / If cancelling within 24 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund or credit.
Beginner Metalsmithing – Wednesday 6-week Artist Series
Starts Wednesday, March 25th (Wednesday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for six weeks.)
CLASS DATES: 3/25; 4/1; 4/8; 4/15; 4/29; and 5/6. (There is no class on 4/22.)
Learn the basics of metalsmithing. Students will be introduced to the tools and techniques required to make custom, handmade jewelry. Techniques such as annealing, forming, soldering, sawing, drilling, and finishing techniques will be covered. We will be making a set of cuffs, a pair of earrings, stacking rings, and pendants. No prior experience needed. A class overview can be emailed upon request.
Fee does not include materials. The materials fee is $50 and can be purchased directly from the instructor with Venmo or cash at the first class.
Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200.
About the instructor: Racheal Cooley has a degree in art and biology. She was first introduced to metalsmith jewelry making in high school and has had a passion for it ever since. She enjoys helping people discover this medium and has been teaching classes since 2023.
