We appreciate your interest in our classes for adults. Our 6-week Artist Series meet once a week for 3 hours and cost $250 per 6-week session. Our One-Day Workshops typically cost $99. If cancelling up to a week before class starts, refunds are available (less a $25 processing fee). / If cancelling within a week before class starts, refunds are 25% of purchase price. / If cancelling within 48 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund. We will do our best to find you a comparable class at our discretion.

Beginner Metalsmithing – Thursday 6-week Artist Series
January 23, 2025 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Starts Thursday, January 23rd (Thursday mornings from 10AM-1PM for six weeks.)
CLASS DATES: 1/23; 1/30; 2/6; 2/13; 2/27; and 3/6. (There is no class on 2/20.)
This class will expose students to the basics of metalsmithing. Students will be introduced to the tools and techniques required to make custom, handmade jewelry. Techniques such as annealing, forming, soldering, sawing, drilling, and finishing techniques will be covered. We will be making a set of cuffs, a pair of earrings, stacking rings, and pendants. No prior experience needed. An overview can be emailed upon request.
Fee does not include materials. The materials supply kit is $50 and can be purchased directly from the instructor.
Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200.
About the instructor: Racheal Cooley has a degree in art and biology. She was first introduced to metalsmith jewelry making in high school and has had a passion for it ever since. She enjoys helping people discover this medium and has been teaching classes since 2023.
