For 25 years, Artascope has been a vibrant creative home where people of all ages discover the joy of making art. We believe that everyone has a spark of creativity within them, and our mission is to make artistic exploration approachable, inspiring, and fun. From ceramics and metalsmithing to drawing, painting, and beyond, our six-week classes and hands-on workshops are led by working artists who love sharing their craft and helping others grow in confidence and skill.
Beyond classes, Artascope offers a thriving studio membership program that nurtures ongoing creativity and connection. Members enjoy access to shared tools, a supportive peer community, and a space that feeds imagination—plus 20% off classes and workshops. It’s a place to create, be inspired, and feel part of something meaningful.
Every August, creativity spills outdoors during our Plein Air Art Festival in Yarmouth, a joyful celebration that welcomes artists from Maine and around the world to paint in our beautiful coastal surroundings. Participation is free, and finished artwork is showcased in a juried show—both in-person and online—for the whole community to enjoy. We’re continuously growing and love partnering with artists who want to share fun, engaging, and memorable art experiences with the public. At Artascope, we’re here to nurture creativity, build community, and keep the arts flourishing for all.
