Intermediate Metalsmithing 6-week Artist Series

September 14, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Starts September 14th (Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for six weeks).

Building upon foundational metalsmithing techniques, this class will elevate your existing skills and inspire you to tackle more advanced jewelry projects. We will cover bezel and tube gemstone settings, piercing, bench pin alterations, soldering techniques, and finishing. We will move through assigned projects but there will be plenty of room for creativity and exploration of what is specifically interesting to you. Be prepared to learn tips and tricks that will advance your jewelry making to the next level!

Please note: It is important that students have basic metalsmithing knowledge, either through the beginner 6-week metalsmithing course at Artascope or a comparable class.

Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200.

Fee does not include materials. A supply kit of sterling silver components is available from the instructor for $35 when series begins. Additional supplies are available to purchase separately as needed for class projects.

Open to adults only. Please contact us directly if you are interested in seeing metalsmithing options for teens.

NOTE: COVID-19 protocols are in place for the safety of our teachers and students, including wearing masks while inside the building. Click HERE to review our protocols before registering for this series.
