We appreciate your interest in our classes for adults. Our 6-week Artist Series meet once a week for 3 hours and cost $250 per 6-week session. Our One-Day Workshops typically cost $99. If cancelling up to a week before class starts, refunds are available (less a $25 processing fee). / If cancelling within a week before class starts, refunds are 25% of purchase price. / If cancelling within 48 hours of a class start, you will not receive a refund. We will do our best to find you a comparable class at our discretion.

Beginner Bezel Setting Wednesday 6-week Artist Series

Starts Wednesday, January 22nd (Wednesday mornings from 10:00AM-1:00PM for six weeks.)
CLASS DATES: 1/22, 1/29; 2/5; 2/12; 2/26; and 3/5. (There is no class on 2/19.)
This course is a full overview of bezel settings, starting with simple bezels and progressing up to custom setting unusual shapes. The first half of the series is project based. We will be making a pair of earrings, a ring, and a pendant. The second half of the series will be a self-designed project with instructor support. For the final project, a selection of stones will be available but students are also welcome to bring in small stones or objects from home. This is a beginner class, no prior metalsmithing experience is needed!
Fee does not include materials. A basic materials kit is $50 and includes everything needed to complete the course, including your choice of stones. The materials fee can be paid directly to the instructor during class.
Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200.
About the instructor: Racheal Cooley has a degree in art and biology. She was first introduced to metalsmith jewelry making in high school and has had a passion for it ever since. She enjoys helping people discover this medium and has been teaching classes since 2023.
